Hi everyone we are the CAVA Community Kuala Lumpur!!

We organise trips that are REALLY FUN and help the environment at the same time. We have discovered a really beautiful place to camp that has a  wonderful river side camping ground and many awesome activities to do! We're planning to go there on the 15th of October 2022. It's sure to be awesome!! We hope you can come with us, enjoy our beautiful natural environment, have some fun and make friends.

WHEN - 15th/16th of October Saturday 8:00AM to Sunday 12:00PM

WHO - Anyone over 18 who likes the outdoors. NO EQUIPMENT OR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

WHAT -

Environmental Aims!!

1. Clean the trail and the campsite!!

Awesome Activities!!

1. Participate in the action pack white water rafting session with Xventure in the morning session.

2. Enjoy the campsite by the river.

3. Enjoy swimming in the river or enjoy a cuppa of coffee while dip in the river.

4. Learn some cool tips on upcycling in the afternoon sharing session.

5. Make some new friends!!

6. Eat a tasty BBQ in the jungle

7. Take part in lots of fun activities

ITINERARY -

Saturday

8:00 - Meet your cars and passengers

(You will receive a transport sharing spreadsheet by email after you register on our website. You can use this to organise transport.)

8:00 - 10:00 - We will travel on 15th October by car to Xventure White Water Rafting, Kuala Kubu Bahru outside KL . There is a place to park cars there.

10:00 - 10:10 -  We will meet at the rafting starting point.

10:15 - 10:30 -   Safety briefing.

10:30 - 11:30 -   Start water rafting and journey to waterfall.

11:30 - 12:00 -   Rest at waterfall and have a snack.

12:00 - 14:15 -   Continue rafting and body surfing.

14:15 - 15:00 -  Lunch at water rafting site

15:00 - 16:00 - Proceed to Air Liut at Sg Pertak to set up camp.

16:00 - 18:00 - We will have a Upcycling sharing session.

18:00 - 20:00 - BBQ and cook on an open fire.

20:00 - 22:00- Afterwards, if people still have energy, we will play a game. There will be amazing prizes!!

22:00 -                We will camp out underneath the stars and tell some campfire stories.

Sunday

09:00 -                Wake up 

09:30 - 10:00    Eat breakfast

10:00 -  11:00    Volunteer to clean up the camp ground and it's surrounding !! Doing our bit for the environment.

11:00 -   11:30    Pack up the tents.

11.30 -   12:00    Closing ceremony 

12.00 -   13:00   Arrive back in Kuala Lumpur 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

CONTRIBUTION - 80MYR

INCLUDES - the cost of the food, campsite,  games, activities, park fees, group equipment costs, transport, registration fees, meetups website cost, cleaning equipment, insurance, leader expenses, equipment storage and equipment transport. 

**XVenture White Water rafting - 175MYR (to be bank in to the camp leader separately to facilitate booking) No refund for non attendance, do find for someone to replace you if unable to participate for some reason.

DOES NOT INCLUDE - Transport to the meeting location.

Shared Taxi

(About 20 - 25MYR each. You will be sent a transport sharing spreadsheet link by email after you register on our website. Use this to share transport with others on the adventure.)

Public Transport

TO BRING

1. Flip flops for the beach, hiking shoes if you decide to go for walk in the greenery nearby.

2. Activities (board games, cards, books, craft activities, beach balls, sun loungers, inflatable toys, anything you can think of which is fun)

3. Waterproof stuff in case it gets wet. (A dry bag for your smart phones and cameras. Sand and water don't mix well with electronics)

4. Camping equipment - Mosquito spray, camping mat, sleeping bag (if you want) mosquito coils, headtorch and tent.

5. Swimming stuff

6. Water - Reasonable amount of water for drinking.

STRICT - If you change your mind you can cancel within 24 hours but after this it is not possible to process a refund.
