Hi we are CAVA!!

We organise trips that are REALLY FUN and help the environment at the same time. We have discovered a really beautiful place to camp that has a great waterfall to swim in as well as forest to explore. We're planning to go there on the 25th until the 27th of February. It's sure to be awesome!! We hope you can come with us, enjoy our beautiful natural environment, have some fun and make friends.

KEY DETAILS

WHEN – 25th of February at 4PM until the 27th of February at 1PM

WHO - Anyone over 18 who likes the outdoors. (NO EQUIPMENT OR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY)

WHERE - 5 minutes from the Langkawi Cable Car (Seven Wells campsite)

WHAT -

Awesome Activities!!

1. Explore the river and the forest
2. Marvel at the view from the top of Matchinchang mountain
3. Enjoy great Barbecues in Nature
4. Experience fun games
5. Light an awesome Campfire
6. Volunteer to protect the enviroment

ITINERARY -

On Saturday 26th

1. Meet at the campsite at 9AM

(Exact location will be sent to you after registration on our website)

2. Ice breaking activity 

3. We will set up the campsite.

4. We will hike to the top of Matchinchang (2h hike) (optional)

5. Eat lunch at the top of the mountain with an extraordinary view !!

6. Come back to the campsite.

7. Afternoon activities – Swimming, games or you can just relax)

8. We will have a BBQ in the jungle with a waterfall view and cook on an open fire

9. Extra activity after sunset: Night animal spotting (2h)

On Sunday 27th

1. Wake up Sunday 8 AM

2. Eat breakfast

3. Pack up the tents.

4. Walk down back to the parking

5. Volunteer to clean rubbish in the area before leaving!! Doing our bit for the environment.

6. Lunch at the local beach (Pantai Kok)

5. Finish the camp with a closing ceremony

6. Arrive back in Cenang (or airport) at 2PM

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

CONTRIBUTION – 55MYR

INCLUDES - the cost of the food, BBQ, prizes, games, group project costs, big stove, meetups website cost, kitchen equipment, cleaning equipment, fire lighters, insurance, equipment storage and equipment transport.

DOES NOT INCLUDE - Transport to Seven wells

- Night animal spotting (50RM / person: normal activity price 200rm)

- Lunch food for the 27th (local price food by the beach)

TENTS

You can borrow one from the group.

One Tent = 30RM (can fit two people)

TRANSPORT

Car pooling (Cars can be rented at Langkawi airport on arrival for 60MYR a day)

Shared Taxi

(About 30MYR each. You will be sent a transport sharing spreadsheet link by email after you register on our website. Use this to share transport with others on the adventure.)

TO BRING

1. Sensible shoes - No flip flops (hiking boots or trainers)

2. Water - You will need 3 liters of water for drinking.

3. Camping equipment - Mosquito spray, camping mat, sleeping bag (if you want) headtorch and tent (or hammock).
