CAVA ADULTS - Nangang Mountain Hiking Adventure!! (Easy/medium hike)

Hi everyone, we are CAVA!! 

We organise trips that are REALLY FUN, give back the community and help the environment at the same time.  Our mission as an organisation is to preserve Taiwan's wonderful natural places and care for our living, breathing planet. To do this we will head to Nangang Mountian to hike and clean!!

WHEN - 19th March Saturday 9AM to 2PM

WHO - Anyone over 18 who likes the outdoors. (NO EQUIPMENT OR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY)

This is a moderately hike with lot of steps up and down so be prepared to get a bit of a workout!

WHAT 

Awesome Activities!!

1. Explore the picturesque Nangang Mountian Range 
2. Marvel at the wonderful views along the route
3. Enjoy making new friends 
4. Help clean the environment 
5. Eat a picnic with others

ITINERARY -

1. Meet at 9.00 AM at the hike start point.

(Exact meeting location will be sent to you by your group leader after you register on the website) 

2. Do a fun get to know you exercise. 

3. Start the hike up towards the trail peak.

6. Enjoy a picnic/ stop for snacks at one of the rest areas.

7. Explore the old mine at the end of the trail (optional!)

8. Finish the hike and return by MRT/ taxi.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

CONTRIBUTION - TWD $110

(DOES NOT INCLUDE - transport to meet up point or from the trail end)  

TRANSPORT 

1. TAXI - (aproximately - 50TWD) Taxi to start/ from end - trail start is about a 10 min taxi ride from Nangang MRT & trail end is about a 10 min taxi ride from Xiangshan

2. Public Transport - (aproximately - 10TWD) Travel to Nangang MRT

TO BRING

1. Sensible shoes - No flip flops (hiking boots or trainers). 

2. Water - Around 1-2 liters of water for drinking.

3. Food to eat at the picnic stop.
