About The Event

Hi everyone we are the CAVA Community Melbourne!!

We organise trips that are REALLY FUN, give back the community and help the environment at the same time.  Our mission as an organisation is to preserve Melbourne's wonderful natural places and care for our living, breathing planet. To do this we will head to the beach and clean up rubbish before it gets into the bay!!

Awesome Activities!!

  1. Enjoy a group walk along the beach 
  2. Marvel at the wonderful view down Patterson river
  3. Enjoy making new friends 
  4. Help clean the environment 
  5. Eat a picnic / bbq lunch with others
  6. Join the CAVA Community!!

ITINERARY -

1. Meet at Seaford 9AM

2. Begin walk up the beach 9:30AM . 

3. Cross Patterson River at Carrum

4. Continue up the beach to Chelsea

5. Picnic/BBQ lunch at Chelsea 12:30

(Exact meeting location will be sent to you by your group leader after you register on the website)

TRANSPORT 

Car pooling

(Estimated 10AUD - You will be sent a car pooling spreadsheet link by email after you register on our website. Use this to share transport with others on the adventure.)

Public Transport

(Estimated - 10AUD - Trains are available to Seaford, Carrum, Bonbeach and Chelsea.)

TO BRING

1. Sensible shoes - No flip flops (hiking boots or trainers)

2. Water - You will need 2-3 liters of water for drinking.

CAVA is a non-profit devoted to preserving our environment by getting more people to interact with and appreciate our beautiful planet. All our adventures are run collaboratively and it’s important that participants help each other and their group leader during the adventure.
