Hi everyone we are the CAVA Community Melbourne!!

We organise trips that are REALLY FUN, give back the community and help the environment at the same time.  Our mission as an organisation is to preserve Victoria's wonderful natural places and care for our living, breathing planet. To do this we will head to The You Yangs to hike and clean!!

WHAT 

Awesome Activities!!

1. Explore the picturesque You Yangs 
2. Look for (and hopefully find) some Koalas
3. Enjoy making new friends 
4. Help clean the environment 
5. Combat invasive species
6. Eat a picnic with others
7. Join the CAVA Community Melbourne!!

ITINERARY -

1. Meet the whole group in the carpark at 10:00AM.  

2. We will begin hiking the branding yard trail. 

5. We will weed the path as we hike

6. Enjoy a picnic and tea + coffee!! 

7. We will drive to the Big Rock lookout and have a light lunch and tea

8. We will then head back to Melbourne

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

CONTRIBUTION - 5 AUD 

(INCLUDES - website costs, meetups group costs, registration, leader expenses and insurance.)

(DOES NOT INCLUDE - transport to You Yangs)  

TRANSPORT 

Car pooling

(About 10 AUD each. You will be sent a car pooling spreadsheet link by email after you register on our website. Use this to share transport with others on the adventure.)

2. Water - You will need 2-3 liters of water for drinking.

CAVA is a non-profit devoted to preserving our environment by getting more people to interact with and appreciate our beautiful planet. All our adventures are run collaboratively and it’s important that participants help each other and their group leader during the adventure.
