The Big Penang Beach Cleanup!!
CAVA volunteers did a fantastic job of cleaning up Pantai Pasir Beach. This had long been a source of contention in Penang. For years it has been strewn with bottles and other pieces of plastic ruining this fantastic beach. But our wonderful volunteers worked hard to sweep it clean and made new friends around a picnic!!

Fun and Fire Beach Camping in Singapore!!
Singapore recently opened for camping again and our Cool CAVA Campers were able to enjoy toasted marshmellows, roasted chicken, a hike to the top of the mountain and a quiz. Congratulations to the blue team who won!! In the morning they were treated to a glorious sunrise, had french toast, listened to the waves and helped the park authorities protect Pulau Ubin's fragile ecology.

Wading in Wonderful Waterfalls in Kuala lumpur!!
After many weeks of lockdown our members managed to grab some fresh air and enjoy another of Kuala Lumpur's wonderful waterfalls. Our participants enjoyed a picnic, a hike, some tasty bananas and a swim. In the evening there was a tasty BBQ cooked by our head camping chef!!! We enjoyed listening to the sounds of the forest and planning our environmental action for the coming months!!

Mischivous Monkeys Stealing Our Food In Bangkok!!
Our newest group had a great weekend working with the park authorities to protect Ko Yao National park. Cheeky monkeys came to steal our food and we did our best to dodge the elephants running into the road!! In the morning we enjoyed the morning chorus and one of Thailand's most pristine wildlife habitats.
